Sofitel NOLA ROYAL
In adherence to ACCOR’s commitment to luxurious sophistication, our design seamlessly blends French sensibility with the vibrant rhythm of New Orleans. Within this synthesis, we incorporate elements reminiscent of the city’s architecture, and integrate collectible art and local craftsmanship with nuanced cultural elements that enhance the authenticity, creating a SOFITEL with a profound sense of place.

LOCATION
No other American city is more culturally distinct and vibrant than New Orleans. Referred to affectionately as “the Big Easy”, the city is a time capsule of old-world charm with rich cultural influences from France, Spain, and the Caribbean.
CONCEPT
Rooted in traditions of southern hospitality, NOLA ROYAL is the new destination of a modern luxurious experience that fuses sensational culinary scenes, ephemeral artistry, and a world-renowned entertainment culture.
THE ENTRANCE FOYER is a threshold that connects boutique retail stores with the private hotel entry. Like a warm embrace, the ambient space is anchored by a custom bronze light sculpture from artisan Rosie Li.
The hotel entrance is nestled on Royal Street – a 1.6-kilometer stretch with cultural treasures and shopping delights. From St. Louis Cathedral to antique and art galleries, 18th-century cast iron facades, and charming cafes and restaurants, Royal Street is an iconic destination.

THE LOBBY is the heart of NOLA ROYAL. It is the link to the moody lobby bar and the hotel restaurant, Magnolia’s Grove. To evoke a stylish yet intimate, living-room-like setting, velvet and wool linen are mixed with hard stones and carved wood. The reception desk is framed by a custom cast iron that takes inspiration from the pipe columns on the streets. In the guests receive the gesture of Cafe Du Monde coffee and local treats from Royal Praline Company, as well as a personalized itinerary based on a pre-arrival survey.

The Magnolia’s Grove, a contemporary Creole and Cajun restaurant, offers courtyard dining and an outdoor stage. Inspired by Louisiana’s ecosystem, it features warm wood elements, a palette of green and turquoise textiles, and metallic finishes. It invites patrons into a vibrant world of festivals, immersing them in cozy southern traditions. Beyond a dining spot, it’s a sensory journey into Louisiana’s natural beauty and festivities.
